What you will do
As Cleaning and Hygiene Manager, you will be responsible for keeping our 45,000 m2 mechanized distribution center clean. You will lead a team of about eight fellow team leaders cleaning & hygiene . You are responsible for coaching, supervising, motivating, developing and assessing employees, using HR tools, services and procedures. You are responsible for the planning of cleaning activities, checking and adjusting. You also do this for external parties when they work for Jumbo. It is important that you ensure a safe working environment in which the company regulations are observed.
From your role you are constantly looking for optimizations of work processes and opportunities for improvement. All this from the thoughts of the Jumbo Production System (JPS).

- Chairing periodic meetings on cleaning, maintenance and inspection mechanization with colleagues from other departments in the distribution center;
- Taking care of personnel matters such as staffing, sick leave, training, performance, evaluation and job applications;
- Observing and taking action for improvement.

You will be working at the Central Distribution Center Fresh in Nieuwegein. As manager cleaning and hygiene you are part of the production team. Together you will ensure a smooth running operation so that all products arrive at our stores or online customers on time and tidy.
