SAP Enablement Developer

    As a Senior SAP Developer within the SAP Platform team, you enable other teams to develop on SAP faster, better, and in a future‑proof way. You support teams by establishing frameworks, standards, and best practices. With your strong technical expertise and enablement mindset, you contribute to a stable, scalable, and clean SAP landscape. You maintain a helicopter view, think ahead, and make complex topics easy to understand.

  • Your new team

    You are part of the SAP Platform team within the Platform Engineering domain. This team focuses on setting up and continuously improving SAP platform capabilities, development guidelines, and enablement for DevOps teams. We work in an agile way, support each other, and challenge one another to continuously improve. There is plenty of room for personal initiative, in‑depth discussions, and knowledge sharing.

  • Who do you work with?

    You work closely with developers, consultants, architects, product owners, and security and operations specialists across our IT organization, better known as the Jumbo Tech Campus. You are one of the key connecting links between the SAP Platform and DevOps teams. Together, you ensure that teams can develop on SAP independently, efficiently, and with confidence.

As a member of our SAP Platform team, you will work on challenging and impactful initiatives within a dynamic and inspiring IT environment. You play a key role in driving innovation and system optimization. You are responsible for designing and maintaining a solid, cost‑effective, and scalable SAP platform. You support and enable our developers in DevOps teams by helping them adhere to SAP’s clean core principles and by maximizing their developer experience.

In addition, you will:

  • Guide technical teams in adopting new tools, frameworks, and architectural patterns while driving innovation and knowledge-sharing.
  • Proactively identify areas of improvement in the IT landscape and drive innovation through proof-of-concepts and pilot projects for new tools and methodologies.
  • Adopt a critical and exploratory mindset, with a sharp eye for detail and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Contribute to our SAP Architectural Guidelines and guide our development teams to adopt these guidelines to ensure extensibility and integration occurs in a standardized way.
  • Create enablement materials, including technical documentation, walkthrough guides, code samples, and best practices.
  • Accelerate in fast-changing environments and constantly stay up-to-date of emerging SAP technologies and DevOps practices.

The SAP Platform team is positioned within Jumbo’s IT Platform domain. This domain consists of several platform teams, responsible for provisioning a diversity of platform components and building blocks. Your agile team consists of multiple SAP developers, a consultant, a scrum master, a product owner and a lead engineering.
