At Jumbo Tech Campus we are looking to hire an experienced SAP Retail Consultant. Jumbo is the second-largest supermarket chain in the Netherlands and we are continuously improving the IT backbone of our logistics, from supplier to store, from order to delivery. Summary
You will be the bridge between tech and business professionals. Because of your efforts, our stores, DCs, and e-fulfilment centers always have the right stock. You are responsible for various SAP implementation, maintenance, and improvement projects. You perform business requirements analyses and translate these requirements to functional designs and user stories. You will guide developers and testers in the Scrum teams in realization of these user stories and inform the team(s) on the ins and outs to be able to provide ongoing support in the operation of the functionalities.
In the role of SAP Retail Consultant, you contribute to the most enjoyable shopping experience by:
- Being a linchpin in the implementation of S/4HANA.
- Consulting on business requests in the supply chain Domain, while having the idea of ‘keep the core clean’ in mind.
- Understanding the SCM processes in a food retail environment.
- Improving SCM processes and leading workshops with team colleagues,
- Jumbo SCM colleagues and SAP (or other external suppliers) subject matter experts.
- Identifying solution alternatives and their pros and cons, weigh the alternatives and choose a preferred alternative.
- Developing and testing new functionalities within SAP, together with your team.
- Collaborating with your colleagues to debug and gain insights into problems that might occur.
- Collaborating with other domain teams on topics that exceed the boundaries of the SCM domain.

You will become part of the Jumbo Tech Campus: our IT organization of more than 350 international professionals. As an Agile team we are committed to the sprint work and in close collaboration work side by side with consultants, developers, testers and a scrummaster. Are you...
Do you have the Jumbo DNA: togetherness, entrepreneurship and winning? And do you also have:
- At least 6 years of SAP consulting experience (including S/4HANA).
- Expertise in SAP retail, UDF, F&R and CAR.
- The ability to compellingly advise business users.
- Strong communication skills, preferably in both English and Dutch.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
