SAP Developer

  • Your job in a nutshell

As an SAP Developer within the JAM team, you will build and enhance Jumbo Article Management (JAM), Jumbo's central article management platform. You will develop applications and integrations that replace legacy solutions and ensure the reliable exchange of article data with SAP S/4HANA and other core systems.

  • What are we doing it for?

Article data forms the foundation of our operations. With JAM, we improve data quality, reduce manual effort, and accelerate the introduction of new products within a future-proof SAP landscape.

  • Your new team

You will join Captain Yellow, a multidisciplinary Scrum team within the Assortment domain. Together, you will work on a modern article management platform that plays a critical role within Jumbo.

  • Who do you work with?

You will collaborate closely with data specialists, integration and platform teams, product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure article data flows reliably and efficiently throughout the organization.

Jumbo is building the digital future of its supermarket operations. The JAM Team (Captain Yellow) is responsible for the development and continuous improvement of JAM (Jumbo Article Management), Jumbo's central article management platform.

JAM replaces legacy systems (such as RAK) with a future-proof platform built on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP S/4HANA Retail. Through JAM, we ensure that article creation, article enrichment (including GS1 data, ingredients, and non-SAP attributes), and maintenance processes run smoothly, efficiently, and accurately for all commercial and operational teams across Jumbo.

As an SAP Developer in the JAM team, you will develop, optimize, and maintain the business logic and integrations that enable article data to flow securely and efficiently between systems.
