As a Container Platform Engineer, you design, manage, and optimize Jumbo’s Kubernetes platform on Amazon EKS. You implement GitOps, security policies, and automation using Terraform, Helm, and Kustomize to create scalable and secure container environments.

Your new team
You work in the Container Platform team at the headquarters in Veghel. Together with cloud engineers, developers, and security specialists, you create infrastructure that supports more than 60 DevOps teams.

Who do you work with?
You collaborate with domain-specific cloud engineering teams, DevOps teams, and security partners to deliver secure, scalable container solutions and integrations with AWS services and Infrastructure as Code practices.
As a Container Platform Engineer at Jumbo, you’ll design, operate, and optimize our container platform based on Kubernetes and Amazon EKS. You’ll ensure reliability, security, and scalability while collaborating with development and DevOps teams to enable fast and efficient application delivery. Your responsibilities include:
- You’ll manage Kubernetes clusters in production, including upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting.
- You’ll configure and maintain EKS architecture, implement GitOps deployment patterns, and enforce security policies.
- You’ll also work with tools like Karpenter, Cilium, CoreDNS, Kyverno, and External Secrets Operator.
- You are integrating AWS services and Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform, Helm, and Kustomize.
You’ll join the Container Platform team at our Veghel headquarters, working closely with developers, cloud engineers, and security specialists in an informal, collaborative environment that values initiative and innovation.
Collaboration is at the core of our approach. We work closely with domain-specific cloud engineering teams to support over 60 DevOps teams. Together, we deliver essential infrastructure building blocks tailored to their unique needs.
