That’s why we make it possible for you to earn your MBO or HBO diploma while working at Jumbo. By combining work with studying at Jumbo, you can earn your MBO diploma within 9 months to 1.5 years, an HBO Associate Degree in 2 years, or your HBO Bachelor’s degree in 4 years. MBO Program: Learn While You Work
Sitting in a classroom isn’t your favorite thing. You’d rather roll up your sleeves and get to work. Learning while working? That sounds perfect to you. What are you waiting for? Join Jumbo.
When you follow an MBO BBL program with us, it looks like this: you go to school one day every two weeks. There, you’ll receive lessons on various themes alongside other Jumbo colleagues. The rest of the days, you’ll be on the floor in your Jumbo supermarket, where you immediately apply everything you’ve learned. Curious about personal experiences from colleagues? HBO Program: Kick-start your Career
Want to combine earning money with learning? We are looking for enthusiastic, well-educated colleagues who make grocery shopping more enjoyable every day. And this can be combined with an HBO program at Jumbo. We work together with Avans University of Applied Sciences to offer you the Entrepreneurship & Retail Management program.
The program lasts two times 2 years. Within 2 years, you’ll earn your Associate Degree. In the last 2 years, you’ll take the step towards your Bachelor’s degree. You’ll attend school one day a week, and the other days, you’ll be found on the floor at Jumbo or La Place. During the lessons, topics such as hospitality & hospitality management, human resource management, entrepreneurship, and purposeful branding & communication are covered. Everything you learn in the classroom comes to life in the Jumbo store where you work.
If you want to pursue the Entrepreneurship & Retail Management program at Jumbo, you must have a HAVO or VWO diploma, an MBO level 4 diploma, or an HBO or WO propedeuse. In the program, you work on practical assignments, and even the graduation project is based on a Jumbo-specific theme. No standard assignments, but one that matches your interests and ambitions!
