• As a Senior Mendix Developer, you design, build, and maintain complex Mendix applications based on SAP S/4HANA.

Who do you work with?

As a Senior Mendix Developer, you play a key role in shaping the digital experience of more than 50,000 Jumbo colleagues. You will design, build, and continuously improve a large and complex Mendix landscape running on top of our new SAP S/4HANA platform. The applications you develop support critical store processes every day and make the work of thousands of colleagues easier and more efficient.

You take the lead in technical decision-making, safeguard the quality of our solutions, and ensure that applications remain reliable, scalable, and future-proof. You work according to the principle: You build it, you run it, you own it. From design and development to maintenance and support, you are responsible for the entire lifecycle of your solutions.

Within the Store Employee Experience team, you collaborate closely with Mendix Developers, testers, UX/UI designers, and business analysts. You also work with SAP specialists, AWS experts, and colleagues from other Mendix teams to deliver smart, integrated solutions that create real business value.

Where you make the difference

Design and implement technical solutions and Mendix architecture.
Develop scalable applications used daily by more than 50,000 colleagues.
Continuously improve standards, guidelines, and best practices across the Mendix landscape.
Coach and mentor developers while contributing to the technical growth of the team.
Integrate Mendix solutions with SAP, AWS, and other business-critical systems.
Validate functionality in real-life store environments by regularly visiting stores and gathering user feedback.
Actively contribute to innovation and help future-proof our application landscape.

5+ years of Mendix experience (Advanced/Expert certification is a plus)
You design and implement scalable Mendix architectures
You have experience with integrations (SAP, APIs, Mendix applications, and AWS)
You are a strong communicator and know how to bring stakeholders along with your ideas and decisions
You demonstrate full ownership, including participating independently in a periodic on-call rotation
You coach and mentor others and actively contribute to raising the team's technical standards
You identify opportunities for improvement and have the drive to turn them into reality

A gross monthly salary between €5,100 and €6,500 (based on a 40-hour workweek).
An annual bonus of up to 5% of your yearly salary, depending on organisational objectives.
30 vacation days (with the option to buy or sell additional days) and 8% holiday allowance.
Pension accrual through participation in the Industry Pension Fund for the Food Retail sector.
Travel allowance of €0.21 per kilometre (up to 35 km one way). We enjoy working together at the office, but partial remote work is also possible.
