As a Senior Tech Recruiter, you attract and hire top tech talent for Jumbo. You help build strong tech teams through talent pooling, while giving candidates a great experience and guiding them honestly on why Jumbo is, or isn't, the right fit for them.

Your new team

You'll join the HR Projects & Recruitment team at our office in Veghel, working alongside two fellow recruiters. It's an energetic team with plenty of room for your ideas, initiative, and expertise.

In this role, you'll collaborate with a wide variety of colleagues. You'll work closely with Tech hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and employer branding specialists to attract the best talent to Jumbo.

As a Tech Recruiter, you'll help shape the future of Tech at Jumbo by attracting outstanding technology professionals. You'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle and ensure every candidate has an excellent experience.

You look beyond today's hiring needs. By building strategic talent pools, maintaining long-term relationships, and strengthening Jumbo's position in the tech talent market, you help create sustainable growth for our tech teams.

Roll up your sleeves. Here's what you'll be doing.

As Jumbo's specialist in tech recruitment, you'll partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. You'll own the end-to-end recruitment process, from writing compelling job advertisements to conducting interviews and guiding candidates through to offer acceptance.

You'll proactively source talent and successfully engage highly sought-after tech specialists in a competitive market. You'll also contribute to employer branding initiatives and use data-driven insights to continuously improve recruitment outcomes.

As a trusted partner to hiring managers and HR Business Partners, you'll provide advice, challenge assumptions, and help make informed hiring decisions. Above all, you'll create a personal and positive candidate experience that reflects what Jumbo stands for. Your work directly contributes to building high-performing tech teams that strengthen both our operation and customer experience.

Your key responsibilities:

Find, engage, and connect tech talent that helps Jumbo Tech grow.
Guide candidates and hiring managers through the entire recruitment process, from intake to signed contract.
Proactively source scarce tech professionals and inspire them to join Jumbo in a highly competitive market.
Act as a strategic sparring partner for hiring managers and advise on effective hiring strategies.
Deliver a candidate journey that is personal, smooth, and memorable.
Collaborate on employer branding initiatives and showcase what makes working at Jumbo Tech both challenging and rewarding.
Use data and insights to continuously improve recruitment effectiveness.
Build sustainable stakeholder relationships that support successful long-term hiring outcomes.

You'll be part of HR Strategy & Organization, within HR & Corporate Affairs. As a member of the HR Projects & Recruitment team, you'll work closely with Tech hiring managers, recruiters, and HR colleagues across the business. Together, we're building the teams that make the future of Jumbo possible.

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience and are fluent in English and preferably Dutch.
Recruitment holds few secrets for you, and experience hiring tech professionals is a strong advantage.
You're genuinely interested in technology and understand the dynamics of the IT market.
Building relationships comes naturally to you, whether you're working with hiring managers, candidates, or stakeholders.
You get energy from taking ownership, thinking ahead, and delivering results.
With your strong people skills and ability to influence others, you know how to create momentum and drive successful hiring outcomes.

A gross salary between €4.500 - €5.800 per month (based on 40 hours).
An annual bonus of max 5% of your annual salary, based on organizational goals.
30 days of paid holiday (with the opportunity to buy or sell days of paid holiday) and 8% holiday allowance. You build up a pension through participation in the Pension Fund for the Food Industry.
An allowance for your travel expenses (€ 0.21 cents per kilometer with a maximum of 35 kilometers one way). We like to work together in the office, but you can also work partly from home.
